Choices:
As I get older, I am more and more comfortable with who I am what I have chosen my life to be.While many of us feel that life’s choices just sort of happen to them… There are those who really do own the choices they make. I so respect those who shake it up a bit, living life to the fullest.I would say that I am envious of those who really take it to the max. Clearly, have not chosen this as my aesthetic. I am overwhelmed by those who are so comfortablewith themselves that they have taken body adornment ( my business) to the extreme.I can say that I have met very few people that really live their life as their own and have no regrets to being so openly true to themselves. Here are 3 that I have met in my life:
FARREL:
A fellow jeweler, I knew in NYC, he and I moved to FL at almost the exact same time. Farrel closed his tattoo shop in NY, and moved his business Custom Touch to New Port Richey, FL.
FYI just so happens that Farrell is Perry Farrel’s Big Bro! Farrel with Dave Navarro
Here are pictures from back stage at this weekends Jane’s Addition concert in Tampa.
DUANE PETERS:

Professional Skateboarder/ Punk Rock Star
Here is a picture that I took this weekend at the Gansevoort pool in South Beach.
This is my friend Mariah with Duane Peters, she actually made this bad boy cry in the pool!
WENDY GADZUK

A dear friend of mine from college and fellow jeweler. She is a walking canvas for some of the most beautiful drawings

My jewels got another fun day at play!
Photographed beautifully by Michelle Tricca, my beachy jewels were recently used in the Bahama Breeze Restaurant’s new ad campaign. Explore the Bahama Breeze (Darden Restaurant) website here.

See how many A Jaron pieces you can spot online, in the menu or on a passing billboard!

My new 18kt gold collection has been selected for the Blue Ribbon Panel of industry experts for inclusion in the World Gold Council 2009 catalogue and press look book. In addition to that, my pieces will be featured at the WGC booth at the JCK Las Vegas show. The WGC is an organization formed and funded by the world’s leading gold mining companies with the aim of stimulating and maximizing the demand for gold. It is a true honor for me, someone that does not “Win” anything… to achieve these prestigious accolades from such an esteemed organization.
Thank you to my clients for continuing to support me and helping me stay fresh and excited about making you sparkle! So looking forward to working more in this amazing metal!

Designing jewelry is only a small part of what it takes to be a successful jewelry designer. Being successful requires wearing so many hats… A big plus is knowing other creative artists, writers and editors.
This passed December I had the pleasure of working with NYC photographer Danelle Manthey.

Danelle is an accomplished photographer shooting for magazines such as; Vibe, Rachael Ray and People. Most interesting is her global journey to photgraph people and their Christmas lights.

You never know where the internet will take you. After reading her bio, I googled the photographer who shot Danelle’s picture Chris Buck.
Surfing his site, was a load of fun. As he has taken portraits of some of the most famous people in very “UN-Red Carpet” moments!
Enjoy both Danelle Manthey and Chris Buck’s work: Paul Frank, Billy-Bob Thorton, Chole Sevigny, Donald Trump and Ringo Starr

Here is a peak at one of shots that Danelle shot in Olde Naples, FL 12/2008

I consider myself a creative person, a jewelry designer, I spend much of my day worrying about which necklace works with which outfit. Which editor needs which pieces for what photo shoot and which client needs something yesterday…
I peak at my computer 100 times a day to see what production orders are late and which orders are on time…
I enjoy a few facebook e-mails from old friends, and even peak at what Neiman’s, Barney’s and Saks are promoting. But, what I love most about my computer is having my first sip of coffee in the morning and reading the postings from my favorite bloggers. It is just a small and simple start to every fast passed day…
My first blog to get hooked on was ALL THE BEST. Ronda Carman’s style, grace and warmth have become part of my everyday. Never knowing that at one point my in box would actually come to life.
Through Ronda’s blog I found ANNECHOVIE. Anne Harwell a painter, I peaked and loved her work and to my amazement found she was only miles from me~! Long story short. (hard for me) We met for coffee and had a wonderful morning.

From Scotland to Florida, Ronda Thank you for making the world so small!

Another WOW MOMENT!

I commission the multi “facted” Patti Friday to shoot my 2008 Holiday Card
Patti’s site describes her as,
”…an artist and product designer who creates from a studio by the water in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. She works in many mediums and experiments with different techniques, subjects and themes. Patti paints, collages, photomontages, assembles, stitches and sculpts. She photographs, styles and writes; producing little films and inspiring books. Patti has 2 Distinct Styles: FIG = Folk-Illustrative-Graphic and Cinematic-Theatrical. Patti looks forward to meeting, sharing and creating alongside you at one of her workshops or cultural potlucks. This ‘Cultural Producer’ is an idea person who practices freestyle creativity. She is the publisher and editor of the popular international lifestyle blog, Liberty Post. Patti Friday est. 1959 Ottawa, Canada”
Her blog is ADDICTIVE! She is creative, honest, witty and humorous. I read every line of her daily posts!
I was originally drawn to her blog by her photos of her own jewels.

She created a very cute series entitled THE HOLIDAY HUNT . I am in LOVE with this image. It is exactly what I was hoping for! I can not wait to send these to all my clients that have been such amazing supporters of mine of the past years.
She shot my Perfect Present ring everyday for about a week.
My favorite non-holiday image is:
A VERY “HAPPY” MEAL

Please take the time to peak at her blog, LIBERTY POST. You too will enjoy.

The wine flowed and the diamonds twinkled last night at the Arts for ACT fine arts auction and gala at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Estero.
In its 20th year, the auction is to benefit Abuse Counseling and Treatment, an organization offering shelter and counseling to victims of domestic violence and abuse.
I was happy to donate a necklace that sold for $ 2200.00. Thank you the the winning bidder for the amazing donation to a very, very special charity.

Celebrity Auctioneer Ms. Niecy Nash was as glamourous as a star should be. As expected she had her signature Hair Flower. I could not resist making her one with my signature flower.

Keep your eye on the Red Carpet for the White Flower with the hand carved Onyx and White topaz flower in the center!

She really was surprised!
Niecy Nash is best know for her roles on Reno 911, Clean House, Comedy Central, E!, The Bernie Mac Show.
